GENERAL GUIDELINES

The Learning Curve encourages submissions of papers reporting experimental, theoretical, and applied studies using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches. The journal also welcomes systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Overall, the  journal features three types of articles:

Original Articles: These are comprehensive studies presenting new research findings and are submitted by researchers.

Review Articles: These articles provide detailed overviews of specific topics, summarizing existing research and are also submitted by researchers.

Perspective Articles: Perspective articles offer insightful viewpoints on current issues, trends, and future directions in a specific field. These pieces are typically written by thought leaders or experts and provide a personal opinion or interpretation based on the author's expertise.These articles are invited by the editorial board.

The Learning Curve follows a strict guideline for Manuscript submission. Please note that manuscripts not adhering to these guidelines may be returned. The manuscript must follow The Learning Curve General Guidelines. The following are guidelines for submission:
1) The title page and manuscript text files should be submitted in a standard document format
type, such as MS Word.
2) Your article, abstract and references must not exceed the given word limits.
3) The Journal follows the American Psychological Association (APA) standards for research
paper writing. Please ensure that the manuscript is formatted according to The Learning
Curve author guidelines.


The articles should follow the APA style (7th Edition) of manuscript submission.

 

Word Limit: 4000 words (excluding references)

Format: Microsoft Word Document

Font Style: Times New Roman


Font Size: 12 pt.

Spacing: Double spaced

Margin: 1" on all sides

Abstract: between 150-200 words followed by 5 keywords

Reference: in alphabetical order, following APA style

4) The details of the author, such as, their name, email address, affiliation and other details required for the process of publication will be required. The personal information of the authors will be kept strictly confidential and used only to aid the publication process.

5) The Authors must submit a cover letter alongside their manuscript, which should include the following details:

● Educational qualification/ Designation, Departmental, Institutional affiliation for each author
● Any acknowledgments
● Email address for correspondence/ Email address of corresponding author
● Should state that the manuscript is original, not previously published, and not under concurrent consideration elsewhere
● If the research paper is a supervised work, the supervisor’s name with his/her designation and institutional affiliation should be mentioned as the second author

6) Any change to author contact details after submission must be sent promptly to the official email id of the journal.

 

Submission Declaration
By submitting a manuscript to our journal, authors attest that the described work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. This declaration must be included in the cover letter accompanying their submission. Authors must also disclose any financial or non-financial interests related to the submitted work. Additionally, submission confirms approval for publication by all co-authors and relevant institutional authorities.

 

Permissions
If authors wish to include figures, tables, or text passages from previously published works, they must obtain permission from the copyright holders for both print and online formats. Evidence of such permission must be provided when submitting the manuscript. Any material submitted without evidence of permission will be considered to originate from the authors.


Plagiarism Checks & Author Responsibilities

As part of our commitment to maintaining high ethical standards, the journal utilizes software to screen for plagiarism to ensure the originality and integrity of submitted manuscripts.

The Author(s) must ensure:

- Proper permission to use any software, questionnaires, surveys, or scales in their studies, if applicable.
- Articles must appropriately cite relevant literature to support their claims. Excessive self-citation or coordinated self citation among authors is strongly discouraged.
- Authors should avoid making untrue statements about individuals or companies or describing behaviors that could be construed as personal attacks or allegations.

In cases of suspected misbehavior or fraud, the Journal and/or Publisher will conduct investigations in accordance with COPE guidelines.
